Digression

I am aware that this blog is reserved solely for ranting convenience of self, but I simply must record that the weather here for the last week has been beyond excellent. I have heard it said and I must now agree that there is nothing more beautiful to watch than the metamorphosis of a desert land in the rain.

My spirit is exploding in little electric spurts of happiness, at my fingertips, as I write this. :)

  4. @meandering mind - less me, more the weather i think. :)

    @deleted comment - come back! :(

    @jinxed pixie - oh jodhpur is usually a slightly exaggerated form of delhi weather. i have no doubt it will rain in a while. :)

    @suk - come off!

    @mudra - likewise, mate. likewise.

  5. Dibba... don't shy away from credit... its due here...

    Methinks you suffer from DID... There are two you in you... the perceptive-rationale-thinking-feeling-philosophical you that surfaces rarely and the 'look-at-me-I-am-a-fool' that's always out there at most times :-)

    I cant figure who writes better...

  6. @meandering mind - my apologies, i take compliments badly. :)

    As for the DID - that was very perceptive indeed; i presume this great acumen has also ensured that you have, at some point, considered that might actively exercise my choice in controlling what facets of myself i air on this very public blog? Presumably, again, you have also rejected this theory for (doubtless!) very well-considered reasons.

    Of course, therefore, my rational-thinking self surfaces only very rarely, and i am for all practical purposes, a clown. Unassailably logical conclusion, that. How well you know me, and all this through a reading of my (very public) blog! I commend your acumen. I am astounded at your insight.

    Do keep coming back. :D

  8. No why didn't I put a smiley at the end of my comment... I am an idiot..

    I WAS KIDDING... you did not have to take that comment literally... It was a left handed compliment to your ability to write random, diverse and mostly very good posts... Most make me laugh and others make me think... and no... I am not patronizing here...

    And yes, I apologize if the comment upset you in any way... that was not the intention... I don't, for a living, psychoanalyze people based on blog posts... I don't know you... and chances are.. I never will...

    Yes... I do have a little weird sense of humor... and that gets me into trouble at times... but that's all right...

    Finally, despite of the Do in italics, I have to keep coming back... you write too well... but may be I will refrain from commenting... dont want to piss you off all the time mate :-)

    Again... sorry... peace...

  9. @meandering mind - really, i have no excuse for reacting the way i did (except for a bad mood, but that is no real excuse, is it? :D ). All my apologies for having been completely graceless.

    Despite all proof to the contrary, I actually can take criticism.
    You are welcome back here whenever. :)

I apologise for the word-verification captcha thingie, i feel your pain. i enjoy reading spam comments and i read with interest all the comments spam kumar, spam kapoor, spam balakrishnan and spam mukherji earnestly sent me, but then the novelty wore off.
